The Apple Bin Inn is pleased to have Massage Therapy available for our guests.
After a full six months of innkeeping, we are fortunate to now be in collaboration with two gifted massage therapists.
Kara Kriner – Licensed Massage Therapist since 2000, Kara is owner of Radiant Massage by Kara in downtown Lancaster. Kara’s practice of Therapeutic Massage applies awareness and compassion by tuning in to your individual needs. Kara’s signature massage includes a flowing combination of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Reflexology and Reiki. Kara offers both Therapeutic Massage and Hot Stone Massage. Kara’s modalities also include Myofascial release (MFR) therapy. MFR focuses on releasing muscular shortness and tightness. The goal of myofascial therapy is to slowly and gently stretch and loosen the fascia so that it and other contiguous structures can move more freely, and motion is restored. Colleen Martzall – Licensed Massage Therapist since 2007 and Kundalini Level 1 Practitioner. Colleen offers integrated massage by combining different modalities into one massage. This allows you to receive therapeutic massage tailored to what you need at that time. Colleen’s modalities include: Swedish – classic relaxation massage that decreases anxiety, increases circulation, and reduces fatigue. Deep Tissue – slow, specific work allowing a deeper, but not painful, pressure. Trigger Point – static pressure to release hypertonic muscles. Connective Tissue Massage – various hooking and pulling techniques. Table Thai Massage – acupressure to muscles during assisted stretches and Yoga like postures. Reflexology – using pressure points based on the theory that there are reflex points on the feet linked to every part of the body. Reiki – Rei is the subtle wisdom that permeates energy, Ki is the life force energy that flows in everything. Reiki is the subtle wisdom and energy flows through the palms of the practitioner and goes to where it is needed in the client. Reiki cannot be guided by the mind and therefore not limited or controlled by the practitioner.
Both therapists are available by appointment only. Requests for advance appointments are suggested at the time you make your room reservations. Plan for some time to unwind, relax, and rejuvenate while you are on your getaway. It could be exhausting visiting all the sites and shopping Lancaster County has to offer. What a perfect complement to your vacation. Call the Apple Bin Inn for further details or to schedule an appointment.
