Accessibility Statement

We want everyone who visits the APPLE BIN INN website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.  Our accessibility statement will provide our current status regarding Web Content Accessibility and our physical location.

To help us make the APPLE BIN INN website a positive place for everyone, we’ve been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

We’re working hard to achieve our goal of Level AA accessibility, but we realize there are some areas that still need improving.
APPLE BIN INN is in the process of facilitating the accessibility and usability of its website,, for all people with disabilities. We will be implementing over time the relevant portions of the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA (WCAG 2.1 AA) as its web accessibility standard or other standards to the extent required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (‘ADA”).
Please be aware that our efforts are ongoing. If, at any time, you have specific questions or concerns about the accessibility of any particular webpage on, please contact us at  If you do encounter an accessibility issue, please be sure to specify the webpage in your email, and we will make all reasonable efforts to make that page accessible for you.  You may also contact us via telephone at (717)464-5881.  We will make every possible effort to answer your questions and concerns.

Please know that our home was built in the 1860s.  It has limited facilities in regard to handicapped accessibility.  Apple Bin Inn is not ADA compliant and is not required at this time to provide accessibility.  The common space for all guests and the dining room where we serve breakfast are on the first floor of the main house. Four steps provide access to the main house. There are two steps up the brick pathway from the parking lot to the brick patio.  From the brick patio we also have two steps to access the main house.  We do not have ramps to enter or exit the main house. There are descriptions on our Rooms and Rates page for each of our five guest rooms at the Inn.  Please refer to this information when considering your stay at our B&B in Lancaster County.
