Gettysburg 150

2013 marks the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, the pivotal battle in our nation’s greatest struggle.  This turning point in the Civil War took place July 1-3, 1863, and Lincoln’s famous Gettysburg Address was delivered that November 19th to commemorate the battlefield as a national cemetary.  The commemoration of the battle will involve many events in Gettysburg between June 28th and July 7th, 2013, as well as additional events November 17-24.  To see a full list of events, click here for the official Gettysburg Commemoration website.
